Unlike skid schools that focus on maintaining control of a vehicle in emergency conditions we emphasize positive driving skills to avoid most emergency situations.

The Senior Driver Renewal Program requires that senior drivers, aged 80 years and over, pay the applicable licensing fee, complete a vision test and a knowledge test and take part in a group education session every two years. A small number of drivers may also be asked to take a road test to have their in-car skills assessed.

All of our DriveWise instructors are highly trained and certified in all areas of Novice and Advanced Driver Training. Additionally we provide leading edge driver training to Municipal employees operating all types of normal and specialized vehicles. For example the Milton Fire Rescue team has been trained by DriveWise specialists in operating the firetrucks for the past four years!
